General Information
The SINC is is an international scientific congress dedicated to host–pathogen interactions, one of the central pillars of Pasteurian research.
Organized by STAPA, the young researchers’ association of Institut Pasteur of Paris, the SINC will bring together early-career scientists from across the Pasteur Network and other international institutions to share discoveries, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations in the study of host–pathogen interactions—one of the central pillars of Pasteurian research.
Beyond scientific exchange, the congress aims to create and strengthen an international network of young researchers, fostering a sense of community, inclusion, and long-term collaboration across the Pasteur Network.
Over three days, the program will feature keynote lectures from leading scientists within the Pasteur Network, oral and poster presentations by early-career researchers, and interactive sessions designed to support both professional and interpersonal development.
A series of roundtable discussions and workshops will further promote dialogue on scientific careers, international collaboration, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), while providing participants with practical tools to navigate their scientific careers.
Understanding host–pathogen interactions lies at the heart of Institut Pasteur’s mission to improve global health through research, education, and public health innovation. In the face of emerging and re-emerging infectious disease threats, strengthening scientific ties between Institut Pasteur Paris and other members of the Pasteur Network has never been more important.
